Anita Applebomb
"Sweet and explosive"
Born Conzuela Maria Ronchita Villareal Gonzales Del Juego, Anita Applebomb is one of the youngest and most mysterious girls on the league. Legend has it that during the infamous tamale shortage of 1981, a young and beautiful dancer and ex-patriot from a war torn France laid laboring in a small Mexican Villa trying to deliver her first child. Anita’s father was said to have never left her mother’s side except to get an Horchata to quench his beloved’s thirst and a side of elotes. (YES!!!!) When Anita finally arrived after 18 hours of labor, the story is told that the Virgin Mary tattooed on her father’s back, shed a tear.
Anita’s childhood was much similar to the other children in MEXICO CITY, Mexico. She spent many of her days running, laughing, and perfecting the art of a good smile. Her mornings, much like the other ninas, required her to sew, cook, and make pinatas. The only thing that kept her separated from her peers was her father, a well know political rebel, who was often found among the company of numerous assassins, such as Jorge Carrestro, Emmanuel Sanchez, and Erik Estrada.
Things for Applebomb quickly changed when she was a teenager. While taking a walk near some Aztec ruins, Anita heard the small cries of children coming from her village. Knowing that the village was in trouble and she would not be able to run fast enough, Applebomb quickly crafted a pair of roller skates from trampled sombreros and a few banana leafs. What happened once she reached la aldea will always remain a mystery. But what we do know is that no one left alive, except for Applebomb.
Now living in Chicago, IL. Anita keeps to herself, but is known to be one of the swiftest skaters on the league. She reveals very little, and if you look into her eyes, you can see that somewhere deep inside lies the memories of her past.
The only thing she says when asked about her prior life is, “Yo le encontraré. Entonces yo le mataré. MAINTANENT!"
